What we collect, and why
If you buy a download: your mobile number and email address. We use the number to limit purchases to one per person per show and to send a short "we got your order" text. We use the email to deliver your download link and receipt.
Payment details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number. Stripe's handling is described in Stripe's privacy policy.
If you're a band or label using the portal: your email (for sign-in codes), the name and details you enter about your shows, and the files you upload. Identity and bank details for payouts are collected by Stripe, not by us.
Technical logs: IP address, browser type, and timing of requests, kept briefly to run the service, stop abuse, and keep the site up during a show.
Cookies and local storage
We use only what the site needs to work:
Queue token (browser local storage) — holds your place in line on a show page so a refresh doesn't send you to the back.
Sign-in cookies — keep bands and admins signed in. Set only after you sign in.
Cookie notice (local storage) — remembers that you dismissed the notice.
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or third-party pixels. Stripe sets its own cookies on its payment components to prevent fraud.
Who we share with
Stripe (payments and payouts), MailerSend (email delivery), our SMS carrier (text delivery), and DigitalOcean (hosting and file storage). Each receives only what it needs to do its job. The band or label whose album you bought receives your email address as the seller of record. We don't sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and dispute handling. Download links expire after the window shown in your email. Login codes expire in minutes; sessions in days. You can ask us to delete your account data at any time.
Your choices
Email support@musixbarnsocial.com to access, correct, or delete your information, or with any question about this policy. If you're in a place with specific privacy rights (California, the EU/UK, and others), those rights apply and we'll honor them.
Children
TixKix is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and, for account holders, say so by email.
