What TixKix is

TixKix is a platform run by Musix Barn LLC ("we", "us") that lets artists and labels ("sellers") sell digital downloads to fans at live shows. When you buy, the seller is the merchant of record — the sale is between you and them. We provide the storefront, the queue, and delivery, and we collect a service fee shown before you pay.

Buying

You must be able to enter a binding contract (18+ in most places, or with a parent's permission).
The album price goes to the seller. On top of it you pay TixKix's platform fee (2.9% of the price) and card processing (2.9% + 30¢), both shown as line items before you confirm. Payment is processed by Stripe.
Purchases may be limited per phone number per show. Sellers may require a code shown at the venue.
Your download link is personal. Sharing it, reselling it, or redistributing the files is not allowed.
Downloads are for your personal, non-commercial use. All rights in the music stay with the seller and rights holders.
Physical merch is made to order once you enter a shipping address. Sales tax is calculated from that address and charged to the same card. See the refund policy for returns.

Refunds

See the refund policy. In short: digital downloads are final once delivered, except where something went wrong on our side or the law requires otherwise.

Sellers

You must own or control the rights to everything you sell, and you're responsible for royalties, taxes, and anything owed to co-writers, labels, or collecting societies.
Payouts go through your own Stripe account under Stripe's Connected Account Agreement. You're responsible for chargebacks and disputes on your sales.
We may remove content or suspend accounts for rights violations, fraud, abuse, or anything that puts the platform or other users at risk.
Our fee is 2.9% of the album price, paid by the fan on top of your price, so you receive the full price you set. Card processing is also paid by the fan. We can change fees for future shows with notice.

During a show

We work hard to keep the site up when a whole venue buys at once, but we can't promise uninterrupted service. If a sale is disrupted, we and the seller may extend the window, pause, or cancel it.

Limits

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for anything related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
